How we did it

IPT fitness client Tom has been with us from the start when we were running bootcamps in the rugby club in 2011.  The fact he has maintained his dramatic fat loss throughout the years is very commendable (this is harder than getting the weight off in the first place!).

Tom responded extremely well to the nutrition plan we advised, and currently completes 2 x weekly 30 minute PT sessions around his busy and physically active job.  Tom is also a fabulous participant of the annual IPT Fitness Christmas disco!

Here is what Tom had to say about training with IPT Fitness:

I’ve been training with Mase for many years now.  I originally started training to loose weight and change my lifestyle.
I had tried other Gyms and personal training programs but never found them to be very successful, or personal, and I gave up as quick as I had signed up.
When I initially spoke to Mase, he straight away took an interest into what I wanted to achieve.  Mase worked out a regular personal training program that fitted in with my busy work life, and included a boot camp session once a week too.  My diet was terrible, and I was drinking too much.  Amy gave me useful information and help on nutrition and diet, and set me a dedicated list of foods to eat which worked alongside my training.  With regular body fat tests set at two weeks apart, I was able to see the results on paper.  Before I knew it, I was shedding the fat and loosing weight.  Within the first few weeks I felt amazing and for the first time, the training and diet was paying off.  The biggest help was the enthusiasm and effort Aimee and Mase put into me and my training as their client.
 My work is very seasonal and summer is the busiest time for me, so I take a break from training during this time.  When work allows me, I return to IPT fitness to start up my training again.  One of the biggest advantages with the IPT fitness team is that they understand people have busy lives to live.  They are open from early morning to late at night and will always make sure they can fit your training in to help you.  I’ve always found the 30 minute training sessions work best for me.
 Many times I have gone back to training with a goal or target to meet.  For example, one time I needed to be fit was for a walking holiday in the Scottish Highlands.  I had 10 weeks to get fit.  Mase set the training program specially aimed to my needs and prepare me for Scotland, I was flying up the hills.  I ride horses, and compete regularly in show jumping.  The fitness work with Mase has helped my balance and riding strength. My latest training program at IPT fitness was a little unusual.  I had injured my lower back due to work and the MRI results were not great.  I needed to strengthen my core muscles and work on upper body strength.  With Mase and Aimee’s knowledge and experience, they set me a training and rehabilitation program to get me back to the best working order I could be in.
 I find IPT fitness a very useful, dedicated and friendly team that have helped me out many times.  The facilities and equipment are top quality and the private gym gives the perfect atmosphere to focus on training.  I have achieved more goals than I ever expected.
