On hearing that I had been accepted onto a post graduate course at University, I wanted to ensure that I was physically prepared to start preseason training with the team. I was about to start on a programme combined with IPT boot camp sessions once a week. After attending a few sessions I felt that IPT would be able to provide a more specific and detailed training programme, combined with the nutritional support needed to improve my athletic performance. I met with Mase and Aimee to discuss my aims. We chose to focus on power and speed work. After introductory sessions to assess my baseline and body fat percentages, IPT designed a nutritional and exercise programme to follow. It involved 3 weights, 2 conditioning sessions, alongside my rugby training and the IPT boot camp. The sessions were physically demanding but also achievable.
Both Mase and Aimee were very supportive either during guided sessions or providing support outside of these via email. After the month training I reduced my body fat from 19% to 11%, while seeing significant gains not only in my lifting but my performances on the pitch. I was not only quicker and stronger in the gym but had functional power which could be transferred onto the pitch. I had gained more in one month with IPT than I had in years of training on my own. Without their guidance I wouldn’t be able to play rugby to the standard I am now. If you have any fitness goals, sport specific or not, I fully recommended IPT Fitness.”
